My Birthday today.. Mmm.. got up Early, got the Dabba, drove to office, Opened my Lotus notes Inbox and there was My Birthday Greetings from Rashmi, Zubin and Girish.. and Guess what., from Radhu too!! And in came Pradeep’s greetings as well. Rashmi & co’s greetings had the following words..

“I dont sent birthday cards to every nut I know.,
Just to nice nut like you”

and Pradeep’s said..

“When it comes to brothers.,
You’re a breed apart”

Radhu’s was a simple one. A Happy Birthday with a smile..

Later I received from Vanaja Maami also, wishing on behalf of Prem and Preeti.. and after that I reminded Sunita to wish me “Happy Birthday”, to which she responded fast.

Thanks everyone., I love you all.

Called up Appa & Amma and wished them a “Happy Marriage Anniversary”(30th year of Partnership and still going from strength to strength). Mom was really happy.. (I had asked dad to buy a Gold Ring for her from our(Mine and Prasanth’s) behalf. I secretly told amma to “maska-o-fy”(“soap-idal in malayalam”) appa to get another Silk saree.. She’s on the act. Appa also seem to be really happy and was talking to me, When I told him that I had touched 100mph!!(160 Kmph!!) during the drive which I went to X-mas party.. He told me off..(not really… but asked me to drive carefully..) Spoke to paati, she wanted me to pray for her early death without causing trouble to others.. Poor paati, Her health is still critical and doctors wonder how she is surviving. Dont worry patty., You have done good to so many.. You will not suffer more.

Also called up Shreya, and wished her “Happy Birthday”… Vaishali was busy in the party and so didnt come to the phone. I have to get the Barbie doll for Shreya, and send with Zubin and Girish, when they go to India in Jan.

Went to Sainburys, while going home, and for the first time, bought a ready made curry.. which only needs to be microwaved, came home, some telly, food and then sleep. I went to sleep early.. by around 8.30.. and got up early ie. 1.30 in the morning.. Switched off light.. and again snuggled under the quilt., got up again at 4.30 am, didnt want to get out of bed, remain half asleep, and was up at 5.30 (Thanks to the Alarm clock Screaming at me).

Today is Appa&Amma’s Marriage Anniversary.. I will be calling them up.. and today is Shreya’s Birthday also… (All Sagi’s are born great.. Wot say??) Shreya is Vaishali’s daughter. I’ve got the telephone card to call India., Only thing is that it has to connect.. Sometimes, it dosent connect and you feel really irritated. Hope it will connect today.. Have a lot of work to do..

Monday.. such an eventful day.. I dont remember anything but being hectic in the office. After office, went to Rashmi’s place, watched “Yes Minister on BBC2., went home, made & had food, wrote journal in the notepad for last two days, went again to Zubin’s place, Checked mail, watched a bit of “The Robin Hood – Men in tights”, a spoof movie, went to sleep..

Today Morning, I woke up at around 8.30, had a good refreshing bath, went for a walk with Zakir and Seema, went in for breakfast (Baked Beans, Toast, Hash Browns, cheese etc), bid adieu to everyone and left the hotel at around 11.30 to home.. Drove back to London, got lost again.. somehow managed to reach Zubin’s home.. Described the party for the three enthusiastic listners.. Went to sleep, got up in the evening, had food, drove back home.. went for sleep.. what a weekend!!!

Friday evening was spent, with a lot of blah blah with Ramesh and family, along with Zubin, Rashmi and Girish. Had a plan to go to Bowling and pool, but since Ramesh and his wife were tired, we cancelled it. Went home late and got into bed.

Had a haircut today afternoon and had a greeaaat bath. I always feel fresh after a 20 minutes under shower(who dosent). I was later preparing for my CHRISTMAS PARTY tomorrow. It will be at Hotel Belton Woods at Grantham. Its a 2 and 1/2 hours drive from my place.. I will have to start tomorrow afternoon. Before that I will have to clean my Car, check the tyre pressure, oil, petrol etc etc.. I was thinking of taking photos, scanning them and put them on my long overdue webpage. Well have to wait and see.

Dont have time to update the journal now.. But will suffice for one small thing which I heard when I was watching “The Simpsons”. Homer was speaking to Marge.. who was feeling guilty since she was one of the reason for one of their friends to get divorced., (I dont know the exact wordings, but it is what it meant.)

Marge: I feel bad as I am partially to blame.
Homer: Blame yourself once and move on.

Another lesson??!!!

Yesterday, I directly went home, made poha., and then ate it..(I was really hungy!!), Erica also tasted it and wanted some more.. why not I said (anything for a good ego massage!!) She seems to have liked it, since she asked me for the recepie and from where to get the ingredients. Then after a bit of break, I started making Pulinkari.. Well, it was coming up nicely, when Somebody called, and it was Ramesh!!! He’s come down to Zubin’s place.. Only “tadka” was remaining for the pulinkari, so I put it in a box and took it with me to see Ramesh..

Following is what went on .. Blah Blah Blah blah Grub, glug, blah blah blah,, bla bla bal .. blbla.. and more blah.. grub, glug and more blah.. Had a fun time. Ramesh’s wife Rachna and his kid Harsh was also there. Had a lot of fun with the Junior “Bhayyaji” also. Was a bit nostalgic, since I remembered the days, when Myslef and Ramesh came to UK together, stayed together and had our fun. We left for Hounslow, as Ramesh had to collect some photographs from our old address. Cameback for a Sumptous meal. I went for Rice with Pulinkari with Pappadom. There was Dum aloo, Salad, and also some other thing.. But I wanted Rice and Pulinkari, with pappadom. I really enjoyed it.. Then we resumed.. Blah blah blah blah blah…. in between Girish wanted to show his resume to me, just to get some ..then again bla..

Today got up late reached office half hour late, Rajesh was already in.. Cherie, who used to work here called up and wanted to speak to Smruti, which I beleive is about me, Cherie is Jimmy’s(my House Owners) sister and earlier used to work in our company.. I bet its regarding me, not helping him in cleaning the house.. To hell with cleaning.. I will do it when I want to. On second thoughts, I’ll have to do it today!!! eeek.
